The long way home from Bordeaux
Summer 2026
For the second year running, I turned the annual OHBM meeting into the start of a proper trip. This year’s meeting was in Bordeaux, so I drove down rather than flying and stayed on for three weeks afterwards: hiking in the Pyrenees, a fair amount of surfing in Spain, and following the French Atlantic coast north to the fairytale towns and castles of Normandy and Brittany.
